The Alumni Board

AAU Alumni has an alumni board which works to develop AAU Alumni and improve the relations between graduates and Aalborg University. The board works at full throttle to improve the network and its offers. The aim is to be among the best alumni networks in the Danish universities, and we spend much energy to stay updated about the development in this field.

The AAU Alumni board meets approximately two times every year. Small task groups have been formed (Web, Larger Events and PR, the Group for the Advisory Committee and the Event Group) under the board. These groups meet approximately four times every year.

Statutes

The AAU Alumni board has formulated a set of statutes, which the board complies with.

The executive management of AAU Alumni is carried out by a board which is composed in the following way:

  • 1 representative from the management at Aalborg University
  • 2 representatives from the Careers Centre at Aalborg University in capacity of the daily manager of the Careers Centre (or a substitute) and the person in charge of AAU Alumni
  • 2 representatives from the Careers Centre at Aalborg University as representatives for AAU Alumni's main cooperation partners
  • 5-7 alumni elected at the annual general meeting of AAU Alumni

In addition, the board may decide to supplement itself with an external member elected based on a special interest in and knowledge about the affairs at Aalborg University.

AAU Alumni annual general assembly is held at Aalborg University. Suggestions to items on the agenda must be sent to AAU Alumni at least 14 days prior to the annual general meeting.
